THE PRYBIRDS

Feather. Flame. Fury.

Welcome to the official home of The PryBirds, Denver’s rising storm of industrial doom and fire-washed metal ritual. This is more than a band—it’s a prophecy set to rhythm, a church of noise, and the furious sound of ash and steel reborn. We’re the fire that sings. We’re the feather that burns.

Twelve apocalyptic hymns forged in sound and soot. Feather and Flame is The PryBirds’ first full-length release—an anvil-heavy, soul-scorching concept album that howls with fury, mourns the ruins of man, and rises from the ashes with burning wings.

From the chugging inferno of “Cinders of the Machine” to the towering devastation of “Cathedral of Gasoline,” this record is both dirge and declaration: the age of man is over, and the PryBird has ascended.

🕯️ WHO ARE THE PRYBIRDS?

Born from broken circuitry, scorched skies, and Denver’s growing underground, The PryBirds are a band like no other. Equal parts chaos engine and ceremonial flame, they blend the crushing weight of doom metal with industrial textures, post-metal atmospheres, and lyrical imagery steeped in ruin, rebirth, and ritual.

Led by frontman and visionary Vincent “Flames” Krell, the band exploded onto the scene with a relentless aesthetic: black leather, burning feathers, blood-red stage lights, and the constant thrum of metal pushed to its edge. Their sound feels like standing in a dying cathedral built from machinery, heat, and sorrow.

“We’re not here to bring light,” Vincent says. “We’re here to burn what’s rotten. And maybe, in the embers, something beautiful starts to rise.”

🩸 BAND BIOGRAPHIES

Vincent “Flames” KrellLead Vocals / Frontman
Visionary lyricist and prophet of flame. With his soot-black tattoos and scorched leather, Vincent leads the rituals from the mic stand like a preacher from a world gone dark. Deep vocals, flickering melodies, and an uncanny intensity mark his every performance.

Eliza “Torch” NavarroLead Guitar / Backing Vocals
A six-string sorceress. Eliza blends melody and menace with solos that cry like melting steel. She’s the band’s emotional engine—furious one moment, heartbreakingly restrained the next. Her stage presence is a storm in itself.

Marcus “Glitch” HarrowSynths / Sound Architect
The man behind the machine. With a workstation that looks half spaceship, half séance table, Glitch breathes digital life into the band’s sound—creaking gears, dying echoes, haunting pads, and ambient dread.

Darrell “Tank” BooneDrums / Industrial Percussion
The hammer of gods. Tank doesn’t just play drums—he builds sound with junkyard metal, oil drums, and thundering kit work. Every beat feels like the last echo of a falling city.

Casey “Flash” DurantBass / Pyro Technician
Low-end chaos and firestarter supreme. Flash anchors the band with pulsing bass grooves while managing the group’s legendary fire effects. You’ve never seen someone play bass while rigging explosives… until now.

Robin “Circuit” MalloySound Engineer / Live Mix
The sonic priestess. Robin handles the studio and front-of-house mixing like she’s sculpting lightning. Every live show is held together by her perfectionist wiring, and every track on Feather and Flame bears her touch.

Kyle “Smoky” RedmanRoad Crew Chief / Gear & Stage Tech
The man in the shadows keeping it all from burning down too early. Smoky rigs the stage like it’s a battlefield, ensuring the flame rigs, amps, and madness all detonate exactly when they should.

🛠️ THE ALBUM: Ember of Empire

The debut album isn’t just a collection of songs—it’s a story told in smoke. Each track peels back the layers of a post-human world where machines sing their own mourning songs, fire becomes gospel, and a mythical PryBird rises from the waste.

Tracklist:

  1. Cinders of the Machine – The spark that starts the fire.
  2. Funeral for the Earth – A slow dirge for a planet long past saving.
  3. Rust Ritual – Worship at the altar of decay.
  4. Melt the Unwilling – A brutal anthem of forced transformation.
  5. Ember Choir – A ghostly choir of burned voices calling from the ash.
  6. Blackwing Engine – The creation of the PryBird.
  7. Iron Requiem – Lament for the old world, forged in molten steel.
  8. Machine Grave – The burial ground of gods and gears.
  9. Molten Skyline – Skyscrapers fall as lava paints the horizon.
  10. PryBird Ascends – The myth comes alive in wings of flame.
  11. Cathedral of Gasoline – Worship and combustion entwined.
  12. Feather and Flame – The namesake. The finale. The rebirth.

🎙️ WORDS FROM VINCENT

“I wrote Feather and Flame after waking from a dream where I saw a bird made of soot and sorrow flying over a burning city. It wasn’t screaming—it was singing. That’s what we’re trying to do: take this modern death spiral we’re all spinning in and turn it into something… prophetic. Beautiful, maybe. Even sacred.

This album is our altar. We built it in sound and fire. Come burn with us.”

🔩 WHERE IT WAS FORGED: RIFFUGE STUDIO DENVER

The PryBirds found their crucible in the heart of Denver’s industrial district, teaming up with fellow firebringers Altars of Aether to construct a hybrid studio-rehearsal-live rigging facility with the help of Riffuge Studio Productions.

This shared space became the home of Feather and Flame—its walls charred with feedback and stained with sweat. Every note on the album passed through this place, shaped by collaboration, experimentation, and outright combustion.

Expect more releases, joint projects, and hellfire tour dates to emerge from this molten alliance.
